Chris Meister.


Head Coach

Biography:

2019 - Coach Meister began his athletic career in wrestling at the age of 4 years old. A graduate of Archbishop Wood High School ('98), he was a 3-year team captain. During his career he accumulated 118 career high school wins. Chris was a 3-time Philadelphia Catholic League Champion and 2-time High School National Prep All-American ('98-Champion, '97-4th). He went on to wrestle varsity at Lock Haven University, until eventually transferring to Delaware Valley College his senior year, where he completed his collegiate wrestling career. Chris graduated from Delaware Valley College with a degree in Business Administration - Finance. He also received his master’s degree in Real Estate Finance & Investments from The Johns Hopkins University, Carey School of Business, Edward St. John School of Real Estate in Baltimore, MD in 2010. He spent 10 years working in the private sector as a real estate professional, financing, trading and owning real estate investments, until 2013 when he left the corporate world to focus full-time on owning and operating a sports performance and fitness center, specializing in coaching wrestling, Olympic weightlifting, kids’ fitness and functional fitness.

Coach Meister began his coaching career at his alma mater, Archbishop Wood High School in 2011. From 2011-2019, he built the program into a perennial contender for D12 & league titles and was a State Dual Qualifier in 2018. As a result of his dedication to the wrestling program and his decorated high school career, in 2015 he was inducted into Archbishop Wood High School’s hall of fame for Athletics. 

Coach Chris came to CB South prior to the 2020-21 season with a goal of bringing a wrestling culture to Central Buck and establish a top notch program in the local area and the state.  

 

Kevin Reilly.


Assistant Coach

Biography:

2019 - Coach Reilly got his start in the sport of wrestling a bit later than most, in his junior year at Archbishop Wood and earned 2 varsity letters and was a runner-up in the PCL earning 2nd team All-Catholic honors. He was a 3x letter winner and Captain of the football team and also a member of the golf team earning 2 more varsity letters, He graduated from Archbishop Wood in 1997 and went onto Drexel University where he studied Biology and was a member of the Drexel Wrestling Team. Kevin began coaching wrestling in 2003 as an assistant at Lawrence Middle School in Lawrenceville, NJ, helping to rebuild that program and winning the league championship in his 1st year. In 2011, Kevin helped save and rebuild the program at Archbishop Wood that was on the verge of being cut from the schools' athletic curriculum. In addition to his coaching duties, he served as a member of the District 12 Wrestling Steering Committee from 2014-2019.  In 2015, Coach Reilly was named the recipient of the Bud Linholm Memorial Award for Outstanding Service to Philadelphia wrestling.  Coach Reilly is also a USA Wrestling Bronze Level Certified Coach which he completed in 2005. He is an outdoor camping and hiking enthusiast, spending many trips throughout National Parks including summiting Half Dome in Yosemite twice. 

Dillon Evans.


Assistant Coach

Biography:

2019 - Coach Dillon Evans has been coaching with Coach Meister for the last 4 seasons. He is a West Chester University (2008 - 2010) – WCU Wrestling Club Founder with a multitude of wins and high caliber honors. 2-Time NCWA National Champion (’09, ‘10). 2-Time AAU Junior Olympic Games Freestyle Champion. 5th Place Junior Nationals Greco Roman place winner. Escape the Rock Champion (’07). 4-Time PIAA AAA State Qualifier. 4-Time Section 1 Champion. 136 High School Career Wins. 2017 Council Rock Hall of Fame Member Dillon graduated from Council Rock South High School in 2007. And is presently attending Temple University – Studying Sports and Exercise Science with a concentration in human performance. Coach Dillon was inducted into the Southeastern Pennsylvania Hall of Fame during the SE Regional Tournament in March of 2020.
