Central Bucks South is pleased to announce that the school will be accepting nominations for the 2024-2025 induction class to the Central Bucks South Hall of Fame.

The Central Bucks South Hall of Fame has been created to recognize and honor former Central Bucks South High School, Students, Athletes, Educators, Administration, Coaches, Teams, Community Members, and Staff for their outstanding contributions and achievements to the Central Bucks High School South community. 

 

Central Bucks South High School Hall of Fame

Definition 

The vision of the Central Bucks South High School Hall of Fame is to recognize, celebrate, and promote Central Bucks South High School and its programs by honoring all those unique individuals that have made significant contributions to the institution as well as have brought recognition to not just the school, but the Central Bucks South community. The goal of the Hall of Fame is to honor and celebrate the past, while recognizing how those selected few have positively impacted our present and future. 

CB South welcomes the nominations of student-athletes, students, administrators, staff/faculty, and community members who have all played a role building Central Bucks South High School. 

Criteria

All students, student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and faculty or staff members are eligible to be inducted into the Central Bucks South Hall of Fame. To be inducted a nominee will be reviewed and voted on by the Hall of Fame Committee and must receive 5 of 7 voted from the committee members. Below you will find a break down for each category of the CB South Hall of Fame. 

Eligibility for Student-Athletes: 

  • Superior accomplishments as a student-athlete at CB South (SOL, PIAA District 1, PIAA All-State, etc. accolades). 
  • Graduation from CB South 8 years prior to nomination.
  • Continuing excellence at the collegiate, national, amateur, or professional levels should also be considered.
  • The student-athlete must have exemplified themselves through the characteristics of integrity and sportsmanship while in the Royal and Black, as well as citizenship in their respective community before and after graduation. 

Eligibility for Coaches/Administrations:

  • Coaches and Athletic Directors are eligible upon retirement and their leaving Central Bucks South. 
  • Significant contributions made to the overall athletic program and school community. These contributions include but are not limited to longevity, overall record, championships, positive impact on student-body, etc. 

Eligibility for Administrators: 

  • Administrators, such as principals, are eligible for the Hall of Fame immediately upon their retirement from or their departure from Central Bucks South High School. 
  • Special nominations and recommendations will be accepted for administrators who have made special contributions to the high school and the betterment/advancement of the students and its various organizations.

Eligibility for Students

  • Students that have made significant and positive contributions to CB South High School are eligible for the Hall of Fame 8 years after their graduation.
  • Their contribution could have been made during their time as a student or after their graduation in their collegiate or professional careers as alumni of the institution.

Eligibility for Teachers and Staff

  • Teachers and staff members are eligible for the Hall of Fame upon their retirement or departure from Central Bucks South High School.
  • These individuals must have exemplified and unwavering loyalty to the advancement of the school as well as the development of the students they worked with each and every day. 
  • These individuals may also have made significant contributions to their respective fields and positions. 

Eligibility for Community Members:

  • Significant contributions to the CB South and its student body. These contributions include but are not limited to widespread support of Central Bucks South High School or specific organizations within CB South. 
  • Significant contributions to one’s profession upon graduation from CB South or one’s university/college. 

Team Eligibility:

For an Athletic team from CB South to be eligible for the Hall of Fame the team must have won a division, league, district, or state title. However, the selection committee does have the ability to select a specific program on occasion for that individual team’s collective accomplishments. Individuals may nominate any team for this honor as long as the team was a school sponsored varsity sport. Criteria for this selection includes: the accomplishment of the team, championships won and impact on the larger community.
