Announcements and Important Events
Dear Central Bucks families,
During their regular meeting on Tuesday, April 13, the Board of School Directors approved changes to the district’s health and safety plan, as well as revisions to the athletic health and safety plan. These changes were made to ensure our policies and procedures are in line with updated recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Pennsylvania Department of Health, and the Bucks County Health Department (BCHD).
The most significant among these changes is the district’s implementation of modified quarantine. This change will take effect on Monday, April 19, 2021. The use of this procedure, outlined in greater detail on the infographic here, will enable Central Bucks students who have experienced a low-level exposure to an individual with COVID-19 to continue to participate in in-person instruction, athletics, and activities.
A communication was emailed to families earlier today outlining changes to the district’s health and safety plan, as well as administration of the modified quarantine. Changes to the athletic health and safety plan may be reviewed on our website.
Thank you for your support of student athletics. Together, we will finish out the school year strong, and our students will be able to participate in the sports and activities they love, safely.
